Case Study 52 – Frankel
This patient was self-conscious about her lower jaw (mandible) being too far back, so she had phase I treatment with a Frankel retainer for her treatment to bring her lower jaw forward and to bring her upper front teeth back. She wore her retainer about 14 months full time and then wore it at night time until the remaining permanent teeth erupted. She then had a second phase of orthodontic treatment to address misalignment of her teeth.
