Case Study 51 – Crowding
This patient had crowding and misalignment such that her family reported her to be extremely self-conscious. She had phase I treatment with braces. Treatment lasted about 12 months. No teeth were removed nor did she have a palatal expander. She experienced an increase in her airway with orthodontic treatment such that her minimum cross-sectional airway more than doubled.
