Case Study 39 – Crowding

This patient has phase I treatment with braces due to concerns for the gum line on his lower left front tooth being too low secondary to the position of the tooth (recession on mandibular left central incisor). He had 12 months of treatment with his first phase of treatment and then 23 months for his second phase of treatment for a total of 35 months in treatment.  Both phases of treatment were with braces in the Damon System. His second phase of treatment was with the Damon System customized with Insignia. Treatment was with braces and elastics but was without removal of any teeth and was without a palatal expander.
