Case Study 38 – Open Bite
This patient did not have orthodontic treatment. We coached her through quitting a habit of sucking her thumb. Once she managed to stop sucking her thumb, her teeth came together on their own. Ultimately, her teeth came together completely and the space is reported to have closed between the two front teeth. Her family was pleased enough with her smile that she did not proceed with orthodontic treatment.
