Case Study 34 – Open Bite
Treatment was with braces in the Damon System. Her front teeth did not touch, so her upper molars were lifted with TAD’s (temporary anchorage devices) which allowed all of the
teeth to come together. Total treatment was about 19 months with braces, elastics, and TAD’s. Treatment was without removal of any teeth and was without a palatal expander. Her treatment was done prior to implementation of custom treatment protocols with Insignia.
